@quirky9 oh yes ! Thanks for the good wishes …so far so good…
@nycmusic thank you so much! The docs all know my autoimmunity. I am planning on staying on my Skyrizi for psoriasis. It is a biologic and only turns off IL-23. That gives me hope about side effects! Thanks for the reply.

I know my gut is unhealthy I have asked my pcp to send me to a GI but he does not. I dont know if it is leaky gut or IBS but the pills he gave me are not working to give me regular bowel movements. No pain but not going for 3 days is not good without taking laxatives and that's not good. I stay hydrated
What are the symptoms for loss of healthy gut bacteria ? What tests would help, so the problem could be identified and treated specifically ?

Hi,
Since I have been on meds a long time that have side effects of constipation, I will use OTC stool softeners or Miralax. I rarely have a bm daily. Of course, fiber. I don't eat a lot of fruit. I do eat veggies. Used to I could drink wine, beer, or alcohol and it would make me go the next day. Lol I avoid alcohol now. Although, 1 drink for women, 2 for men a day is allowed. Double check that. You may take meds that you cant have alcohol on. Lastly, my grandma always drank Metamucil or ate prunes if you want to go there. It worked for her.
Beans, peas, yogurt (all three every day), and other vegetables should help with digestion and more frequent bowel movements.
