I have a pain in my head about 3 inches away from the top of my right ear. It feels like it’s the size of a quarter.
I have pain in my neck when I try to turn right it’s been like that for a while now

That's horrible.
Have you considered seeing a headache specialist/ neurologist?
Maybe some imaging of your neck would help show what's going on.

I hope you find some solution (s).

(I have something similar btw)

@jjetkon31 is the pain below or above the “bump”? Or is the pain only around the “bump”?

Please make an appointment with your PCP tomorrow morning. Even if there's a physician logged on to this site, she/he will not be able to diagnose your problem, provide you with a script, or even refer you to a specialist if needed. Talk to your MD - Hope you get relief soon.

It takes more than a post to receive a diagnosis. Please see your doctor asap. Even a serious issue is not as serious when caught early.

And also read the inserts for side effects of all your meds, even ones you've taken for ages. Or look them up online for side effects. I had a headache in a different area of my head from yours, but in the same area of my head every day for about 6 weeks. I did see an MD who suggested it was a "tension" headache. A few days later, I happened to read the medical insert for a med I've taken for over a year. Among the possible side effects was listed "headache". I stopped the med and within 4 days the headache was gone. I've since seen my PCP who has prescribed a replacement med, which has not yet arrived from the pharmacy. The med was an inhaler. I've been cautioned that the new inhaler may also give me a headache if it was the steroid in the previous inhaler that gave me the headache. Sure nice to be headache free!
