That's AWESOME! And inspiring, hopeful. Thank you very much for sharing that with me. I realize that I needed to hear what's possible so I can believe that it's possible for me, too. I surprised myself today when I went with a friend to a golf driving range to hit a small bucket of balls, the first time in 20+ years. Given that one of the vertebrae in my thoracic region was damaged as a result of the cancer, I wasn't sure if I could even swing a golf club. But my friend and I were both surprised and delighted at some of the long drives I hit. (Yes, I hit a couple "crawlers", too.) It was fun, we laughed and we plan to go again in a week. It was beautiful out there.

My doctor will not reduce my dosage to the 40 mg. He said that my side effects are "not that bad". The worst is the diarrhea and muscle cramps in my hands and feet

Have you ad a scan since reducing the dosage, and is still effective?

@eds611 hello, I’m on a plant-based diet. I follow Chris. Wark. If you look him up, he had stage three colon cancer and he opt out of radiation and chemo and everything with diet. They told him if he didn’t do chemo he died in six months. But he’s been clean now for 20 years. I will check him out.

@vking yes, so far so good. I developed terrible bruises on my legs and my platelets dropped very low. The pharmacist oncologist said 40 mg will work too.

Welcome @eds611!, were you recently diagnosed with EGFR lung cancer? How was the cancer identified? It can be such an overwhelming time, there is so much new information! Many of us here can help.
