Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome: How can I help a family member?
My 15 year old grandson was given a diagnosis of possible cannabinol hyperemesis syndrome after three trips to the emergency room with strong abdominal pain and throwing up. He had to have fluids, etc. He felt better but continued with symptoms for about a week? Several weeks later the same process happened.

My grand daughter is diagnonized with prêthes .She is three and a half years old.I am very worried and I cannot sleep because of anxiety.please tell me if it curable
@edwardchini, hearing news of a medical diagnosis for a grandchild can be incredibly difficult—a grandchild is a part of you, too. You may also carry deep concern for your daughter or son as they navigate this diagnosis as a parent. The role of a grandparent is twofold: supporting your child and supporting your child’s child. It is a heavy load to carry.
@edwardchini, was your granddaughter diagnosed with Perthes disease (Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease)?

I'm 33 almost 34, and have used Marijuana daily since age 12. I have had stomach problems since I was a 2 y/o. I have been in and out of hospitals several times with serious issues relating to my stomach, almost dying 3 times. Well I remember when I was really little they diagnosed me with a nervous stomach, and that made me angry cause I thought surely the severity of such symptoms was more than nerves. But at 31, when I got sober from a long standing substance abuse problem, I was facing the same thing but this time was so much worse. And I got diagnosed with chs, and what was doing it was the high thc contents and the easily available garbage they sell in gas stations now and they don't care if your 8 y/o as long as they get money. It is 100% the shit these smoke shops are pushing. It was also gummies that did it to me. I had never been so ill. But after quitting and getting all that crap out, I also found out I have chrons and thc does help with that. But I use a legal medical dispensary now, not some gas station crap. My point of that was that I smoked my entire teenage years into adulthood, and these problems never became such an issue until they started legally marketing Cannabis everywhere. The kids today face a lot, easier accessibility and medical complications. Because of the crap sold in gas stations, they had heroin on the shelf in gas stations for crying out loud, called 7OH.
@cadk1993 Yikes I didn't know about this. I'm assuming the crap they sell in gas stations are all in states that have approved recreational marijuana.
I'm 70 now, and remember smoking weed in the late 60s, early 70s. That stuff was really mild and it smelled so much better than the skunkweed sold today.
Is it still possible to get a hold of this first-generation weed, withn low THC and a much more pleasant smell?
Thanks in advance for your help. I can't smoke the new weed, THC is waaaaaay to high and it absolutely smells like a skink.
@smahagnoul it will go as long as he is using! If he stops, it may take a week or so for drug to wear off but if he continues to use, he will be sick!
@6pakgranny my Grandson will turn 21 in Jan. He has been using Marijuana for about 6 years, he has gone from a healthy 220 down to about 140. He was diagnosed about 3 years ago, went into hospital numerous times, has had counseling and all kinds of information, went into rehab for two weeks, not long enough. He has quit from a little while but always goes back to using! He is now vaping and says he has found a milder substance that he can use without the vomiting! We are helpless and just watching him slowly die! Its heartbreaking! 💔
