Constant pelvic pain?

I’m sorry you are suffering in such pain on a daily basis. I do not have any pain at all, but a 3 compartment prolpase. Would your doctor be able to do any type of surgery to help?

If it was me, I would make an appointment in the Gyne department. And have a thorough in appointment
There could be many reasons why you were having pain and a gynecologist would be the best place to go
Try to read up on it by Google or Google scholar or any other website that is good for information

@catlady1900 May I ask your age? If this were me and I was getting nowhere with my doctors and NP I’d get another opinion. Have you had an ultrasound? CT? What do your doctors think causes the pain?

Had a rectocel op 3 years ago and have had chronic pain ever since. A trapped pudenal nerve and still cant get an appointment. The pain is chronic.

I am 29. I'm seeing a new doctor next month. Someone on this thread mentioned Surgery, I will be asking my doctor about it. Yes, I have had CT scans, and ultrasounds. All the doctors I have seen think I have endometriosis.

@catlady1900 Thank you for sharing your age. I don’t believe it’s reasonable to expect a person to live with the kind of pain you are experiencing. I’m relieved that you are consulting another physician. If you were a member of my family I’d be supporting you and helping you to find the doctor and care team that would work with you to get the answers you need.

@sharshy Pain for 3 years? And the doctor won’t see you? I hope you are getting something to help with the pain, I have read online sometimes a stitch can be on/by that nerve and they just go back in and clip it/remove it. But 3 years is a long time to see if it can be done. I hope you can find another doctor if cannot get an appointment. Wishing you the best.

@jenben59 Thanks. I have had many scans and tests but they couldnt find what was wrong with me. The op I had damaged and trapped my nerves. Restless legs was diagnosed and put on gabapentin and trazodone for nerve pain. I did my own research and now know that I need surgery to release the nerve but its takeing ages to see a surgeon, I compalined to PALS at the hospital so its moving along .
