Anyone had blotchy, itchy skin from PMR or from Kevzara?
Has anyone experienced red blotchy, sometimes itchy skin on arms from PMR or Kevzara? Never had this before.

When I checked online about side effects of Kevzara, I saw that it's common that it'll raise the patients' cholesterol. That's a huge red flag for me, as I've had high cholesterol for years and can't take statins due to side effects. Has anyone experienced the cholesterol increase?
I may have to stick with tapering my prednisone until I'm off of it on my own. Thought I would be able to manage 3mg but it turned out my aches and pains started returning 2, 3 and 4 days in, so now I'm back on 4 mg.

It's worth checking in with your cardiologist to get their opinion of kevzara for you. Everyone doesn't experience the same side effects and your cardiologist may be able to determine how serious the potential increase in cholesterol is for your health. I've had high cholesterol and/or high bad cholesterol for years but I don't have the plaque buildup associated with it.
