Grover disease: is a final healing possible???
Hi, from Italy. I've been fighting against Grover for two and a half years: I started with cortisone pills (which works as long as you can take it); then 3 months of Dupixent, with no result; then some months with a retinoid, Acitretin, an again no result. Now again a monoclonal antibody, Adtralza injections (Tralokinumab) and after four months ...no result. Doctors who are treating me say that I have to continue for some more months because Tralokinumab works very slowly. ??? Meanwhile I get some relief only using Clobesol cream. I'd like to know if some of you had similar treatments having a complete, (complete and final!) healing. Or a complete healing with different drugs. Grazie e ciao!

It's from the plastics in Extended release medicines. At least that's my hypothesis. I believe I have Grover's disease but they are wrong about the origin. (We never had the covid vaccine.) I bought enteric coated 81mg aspirin by mistake and was taking 4 at a time for pain for around a month. I gave my husband 4 at once 1 time, and we both developed a rash coming out of around wounds. His was a shaving nick. Mine was a burn on my arm. I have contacted the Center's for disease control but they never returned my email. I believe it's microplastics poisoning. This is something that has to grow out of your skin. Since mine is so severe (80% of my body.) I've been breaking skin to get the pieces out of it. Some are white, some are black, it's been 10+ weeks and many now are maroon from the blood. These pieces are like bits of sand or pebbles and are very hard. No one knows how to deal with it. If a medicine ends in MAB It's a chemo to knock down your immune system. Hence it won't help! If you are taking any extended release meds stop it and ask for regular medicine. 15 out of 17 inert ingredients in the equate aspirins we took were some form of plastic. The FDA claims it's safe but they okayed farmers to put roundup weed killer on our food supplies. I see above there are people not knowing how to put lotion on their own backs. Buy a lotion applicator on a stick. (Walmart, TEMU, Amazon.) I've also been using back brushes, and bamboo back scratchers to dislodge the bits under my skin. Pinch and scratch the papules and you may find sandy type bits. They tend to come out dry. Prednisone will not help! I was misdiagnosed 2x within a week. My PCP said scabies. ER said cellulitis. I even treated my skin and bedding with neem oil for 2 weeks incase it's scabies. It's not! The bits don't move. However I noticed the Neem oil mixed with olive oil or soapy water that can be sprayed provides relief. They sell 360 sprayers for hairdressing. I use that too. My husband resolved in one month. I'm still picking and scratching 10 weeks later with no end in sight. The dermatologists are shooting in the dark.
