Anyone had shortness of breath after getting a steroid shot?
I am wondering if my shortness of breath could be caused by steroid shots. Anyone ever had shortness of breath a couple weeks after getting a steroid shot? I have had them before in the past. Xray, blood work, oxygen levels good but still feel like I need to like yawn for a good breath. Then they put me on advair which is also a steroid and I tell them it is not helping but they tell me to continue it. Could it be from steroids? Does it ever go away? I've never had asthma or any breathing problems before.

Hi, I received a cortisone shot in my elbow 4 days ago. Immediately after the shot I got a pain/tightness in my chest that I’ve never experienced before. I’ve also been very short of breathe since. I’m a 38 year old tennis coach so I’m in good shape. I went to the hospital twice in the last 4 days. They did blood work, EKG’s, chest X-rays and even a chest CT scan with dye. All came back negative. They don’t think it’s from the cortisone shot but I’m 100% sure it is. I see that I’m not the only one who’s experienced this here so I was wondering if this passes on it’s on or if any other measures were taken.
