While I am here, does anyone know if taking an ED medication can help with desire. I am 78 and have lost my desire for sex. Or, perhaps my lack of erection caused my lack of desire. It's not that I don't want to have sex. It is frustrating to want it but cannot really desire it... if you get my drift.

Here is my experience. Nitric oxide is required to have an erection. I found that taking one or two 750 mg capsule of (Now brand) l-Citrulline every day for a month seemed to help with erections and increase interest. Then I found a journal article about using it for mild ED. I also take one 5 mg tablet of Tadalafil at least once a week. This combination seems to bring back those feelings you are missing!
So I wondered if nitric oxide is helpful for women too so I found this article that says it is very helpful: https://www.revitalyzemd.com/the-nitric-oxide-connection-female-sexual-health-circulation-and-vitality/ You don't need to buy their tablets. Just use the l-citrulline daily.

@crossette Thanks for the info. I’m taking so many drugs right now that I’m very wary of adding another one.

@heisenberg34 You should at least try the l-citrulline. It is a natural amino acid found in watermelons a few other fruits (but in small quantities). It's always good to keep your blood vessels open.

Nothing short of God Himself saved our marriage. Tried to do it on our on, to no avail. Still struggling with life’s changing circumstances…
