It's a recipe...you would take with food or in a drink of your choice like coffee, milk, etc.
I recommend joining the "Original Turmeric User Group" (OTUG) on Facebook for recipe and information. The reason I use it is for my inflammation associated with rhemetoid arthritis 😉

1 Reaction@becsbuddy and others CAUTION! Turmeric and its active ingredient curcumin is helpful for inflammation for some people, BUT it can interact with many medications and must be used with great caution bt anyone with diabetes, liver disease and a number of other health issues.
Please research carefully before using as a supplement regularly.

1 Reaction@tova Thanks for that info....I'll talk to my rheumatologist next visit. so appreciate your response!
@kmg218
I was recently diagnosed with RA and after I finally got into a Rheumatologist the first medication he put me on was Methotrexate. Horrible diarrhea!!! I am now on Orencia infusions, so far so good. Although I am not sure what the long term goal is. I am still taking Prednisone and starting a 1mg taper per month. This is such a balancing act of finding something for relief and live with it.

3 ReactionsDoes anyone have issues with chronic achilles tendinitis?
I've been taking hydroxychloroquine 200mg daily for 6 years now since being diagnosed with RA....never had any stomach issues. I have recently started Leflunomide...it has helped with the inflammation and swelling. Just very concerned about side effects that could occur. Recently added Prednisone 5mg.. My rheumatologist said I could take it when needed if I'm experiencing severe pain. I do have multiple autoimmune issues. Hope you find what works best for you! Take care...God Bless 🤗

1 ReactionFor me, I utilize some physical techniques that help. I find relief by wearing soft, splints to bed at night that keep my hands in a neutral position. I also wear compression gloves with the fingertips cut out during the day. I do a lot of driving, so I have been wearing biking gloves with extra pad and the fingers cut out while driving. I’ve also had those soft cushy rings put on my steering wheel. Occasionally, I use soft ice packs by icing 10 minutes on than 10 minutes off. My hands continue to fan out and look a bit deformed, but I sort of expected that. I have my suggestions are helpful.🌸
