Itchy eyes make me miserable.
For years now, my eyes itch, my nose, and face itch, and it gets so bad that I think it will affect my vision because I rub them.
I use Ketotifen , Claritin, FloNase. Is there anything else out there that would relieve the itching?

Connect

Hi @puck, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Dealing with continually itchy eyes is not at all pleasant.
I take cetirizine hydrochloride (Zyrtec) daily (actually twice daily, cause I'm a fast metabolizer and it doesn't last the intended 24 hours) and also use prescription cromolyn sodium ophthalmic eye drops. Seems to help.
What has your allergist suggested to get some relief?
Hello Puck,
Yes, there are other remedies for itchy eyes that I've found. My allergist recommended Pataday, which is an over-the-counter brand of eye drops made specifically for itchy eyes. If that's not strong enough for you, as it sometimes isn't for me, get your eye-doc to give you prescription eye-drops for itchy eyes.
