John, Memories of this song came flooding back too. Thanks @vircet for posting and sharing your poignant experience hearing In the Garden and to @jakedduck1 for joining in.
I was in parochial school from 1st to 8th grade and singing/music was a huge part of our curriculum. Unfortunately I couldn’t even carry a tune in a bucket but loved to sing! That song is where I learned I’m an alto and loved to harmonize. 6 decades later and I still hum or sing that tune when out in my garden or during times of stress.
Now it will be in my head all day. ☺️

2 ReactionsI bought a couple butterfly plants in the Spring and nurturing them through the rain, heat, and drought has kept me on my toes with care. We'll, yesterday while out feeding the birds, I saw two butterflies on one of my butterfly plants. I'm a mom of sorts. Made me so happy.
