I live in Canada. Does anyone have a good neurologist in B.C.?

I have recently moved to B.C. I keep ending up in the hospital because I don't have a neurologist yet. I have focal seizures, left temporal lobe. Sure would like a doctor that knows me well and someone that will listen well.

I would suggest since you a looking for a new doctor, spend the time and find an Epileptologist that you can work with for the long term. They are specialized in epilepsy and it might help you streamline progress of your situation. Good luck..

Hi @bloom26 !
I don't have anyone specific to recommend in B.C., but @kathygardendancer and @caitieg86 are both in Canada and may be able to help.
I agree with @mgriffiths02 — it's worth looking specifically for an epileptologist rather than a general neurologist. Most of the neurologists I saw early in my journey just treated the seizures themselves, but epilepsy care goes well beyond that.
All the best!
Chris
