Your PSA is pretty high for the amount of time after your radiation. I have heard from people that took three years to get down to the minimum, That is not the usual, but it happens.

Your PSA free is quite high risk since it should be above 25%. The thing is you’ve written 7L Was that a typo. The L. doesn’t seem to belong. I assume you mean 7%.

If it were me, I would want a PSMA PET scan to find out what’s going on. I might wait till the next PSA test, but with A PSA of three you should be able to get good results from a pet test.

I think it would make sense to get a second opinion on what’s going on. The doctor does not appear to be aggressive enough with what appears to be problems. If you mention where you live, I might be able to point you to a doctor that’s in your area and highly respected.

@brianjarvis i received 25 sessions of radiation which ended March 18,2026 it was a bit challenging between the nausea and throwing up it was driving me insane. I still get some pain i was told that was normal but dam it frustrates me.

@fig1971 Any adverse side-effects like those are not “normal.”

What those mean is that they were overshooting your prostate and hitting nearby otherwise healthy tissues and organs - like your intestines. (What radiation doesn’t hit, it won’t affect,)

There are many adverse side-effects that radiation can cause if advance precautions aren’t taken and/or if the radiation is administered badly. (I’ve attached a chart showing many possible side-effects.) My RO and I spent months discussing ways to minimize/avoid them.

Remedies - some simple, others more involved - may be needed to get resolved. It depends on the diagnosis.

@brianjarvis ah and im pissing like a race horse. During intercourse when i get to the point of ejaculation absolutely nothing comes out been dealing with that for months lets see when things will start falling back in place.
