Anyone have a stabbing sensation in breast and findings were benign?

@ksmitty Love your upbeat attitude. You are right about the worry! Stress is the last thing we need. Thank you for sharing your story. I also am a lobular patient. Could I ask how yours was found? Was it detected in a regular mammogram?

Thank you! I had a mammogram and the radiologist saw something “highly suggestive of malignancy” and ordered an ultrasound. Something was odd on it and they ordered the guided biopsy. Things were crazy after that! I’m so glad to be on the other side of it now! And hope I stay on this side of it!!

Dearest Courageous Warrior Sister. Yes, I have. Breathe; please do your best to think and listen to the positives and breathe. Only listen to comforting shares from others. Do your best to wait for results. Either way, if you are able, get second opinions. May 2022, my niece had shooting pains with a small cyst. Mamm was fine, and the doctor said, too small for biopsy. The alarms with her went off because of my shooting pains, etc. We are all different.
She just turned 51, and with a watchful eye, she is well, and the cyst same size.
The good news, Courageous Warrior, you are on top of it vs. procrastinating.

@ksmitty Hello, Congratulations, Warrior Sorority Sister; I am grateful for the radiologist I had during my initial "I know my body, I want Mamm, etc. I've had guided biopsies, and sometimes, prayers are answered the way we want. I was 19 when I was told I have 100% chance of having breast cancer with my fibrocystic cyst. At that time, in the 70's, all they were doing was advising immediate double mastectomies. With divine intervention, the heavenly Dr Heavenly Angel came into my room and said, only he knows. You have the choice to change your mind and wait until needed, or to proceed with the decision. It took 46 years to be diagnosed. I am 4 years Happy Healthy Disease Free. Yes, once diagnosed, it is like going 100 miles an hr. Continued Wellness,

@ksmitty weren't we lucky to have a vigilant radiologist? I never knew what an "architectural distortion" was. Never heard the term. I sent that man a thank you note! Sounds like you're with a good team. I try to keep up with the latest articles on lobular. Thanks for sharing. I think we are fortunate because clinicians are now more aware of this type. I never heard of it before...and I was in healthcare and often marketed a breast center.

Please do not ignore any stabbing pain. I had stabbing pain and it turned out to be IDC so better to be safe than sorry. Wishing you the best

Hi there. I have my mammogram on Thursday. Thank you so much for thinking about me.

My breast cancer did not show up on mammogram or ultrasound. I kept insisting on cyst removal. We removed it and it came back cancerous. I had an immediate double mastectomy and the other breast was full of precancerous cells. Stay on top of this. I would recommend having radiation if cancer is found in situ. I don't think most doctors do this but I had cancer cells left in some tissue and now have stage II reoccurrence in lymph nodes.
