Stabbing sensation

Hi. I have never had this happen, but everything is so new. I just wanted to say to stay encouraged. Think and speak positive things over your body as you go get checked out. Praying for you vjm!

I had benign, fluid-filled cysts long before my breast cancer diagnosis. They caused a sharp, painful stinging sensation whenever they filled with liquid. I had them aspirated when it became too unbearable. My breast cancer caused no pain and I couldn't even feel it. I didn’t know it was there.

Oh gosh I hope its that kind of cyst. That’s exactly what it feels like.

@vjm0223 Hey there! I had zero pain and no lump when I was diagnosed with bc. My invasive lobular bc was huge (greater than 10 cm in one direction and growing that long in other directions) but could not be felt. Lobular bc grows linearly and doesn’t form a lump. (Before my double mastectomy, both my surgeon and oncologist tried to feel it! They tried cupping their hands different ways to find any way to feel it but they couldn’t!)
I had no symptoms of bc and was just blown away that I had it!
Please try not to worry! Worry will not do anything positive for you. Get it checked out - and know that no matter what happens, you are strong and you got this!!

I have had stabbing pain in my breasts from lumps that turned out to be nothing. I also had stabbing pain in the breast with the lump that turned out to be cancer. One of the reasons why I thought nothing of the lump, after years of lumps that came and went with many of the same feelings and symptoms.
