[Tip] Filter your Connect emails into a folder
The number of emails from Connect can make it difficult to see your regular mail. Here's a tip for sorting Connect-related emails into a folder.
Set up a filter or rule. (It is called different things depending on which email client you use, i.e., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) This will send all the Connect emails into a folder and bypass your inbox. Then you can choose when to go through your Connect emails and spend time with the community.
Use the key word “@n1.hubapplication.com” as the filter.
Here’s how in Gmail. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6579?hl=en
- Open Gmail.
- In the search box at the top, click the Down arrow.
- Enter your search criteria (many options are provided but you only need to fill in one) I put “@n1.hubapplication.com” into the “Has the words” field.
- At the bottom of the search window, click Create filter with this search.
- Choose what you’d like the filter to do. For example, Go to a specific folder and Skip the inbox.
- Click Create filter.

great, thanks, how could I do that in Mail from Mac? I can make intelligent po boxes but then they appear on the general incoming mail as well

@colleenyoung I am confused by this. I know there have been times that comments from this site appear in my spam filter-Can assure you I do not open thus.
all of this tech stuff has become overwhelming. When I realized the notes from a therapist I had been seeing were visible within the entire system I am in I freaked. She had already said there was nothing else she could do and when I saw here stuff in my medical chart---Does it ever end???

Email filters are optional. You can set an email filter to have email notifications from Connect go into a specially designated email folder. If tech stuff overwhelms you, I wouldn't bother with it. You seem to be managing your use of emails and Connect just the way you are currently. As they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Occasionally, emails from Connect will go into spam. Emails ending in @n1.hubapplication.com can be put on your safe list.
You will NEVER see your medical records on Connect. Connect is not the same system as the Patient Online Service, also called the patient portal. The only information about you on Connect is the information you've shared in your messages. You are anonymous and are in control of what you choose to share. It is important to remember that Connect is a public website. That means that people looking for support from other patients and caregivers can find this amazing community. But it is good to keep in mind that it is public.

If you use email filters to send all your Connect emails into a specific email folder, change the keyword or sender to "@n1.hubapplication.com"
Occasionally, emails from Connect will go into spam. To avoid this put @n1.hubapplication.com on your safe list or white list.
