Dizziness

Hi there! I am wondering if anyone has felt this floating feeling in head or dizziness but no other symptoms. It comes and goes. Sometimes it will last hours and then go away. I don’t get it what’s could cause it.

@joybo99 I too have pppd for 4 years now. It's always present when I'm on my feet. It has really changed my life and I've become more isolated. An ENT diagnosed me but most other specialists aren't even familiar with it and not. sure how to treat it.

@fehrlady Vestibular therapy helps some people. Also, many of us take an SSRI such as Zoloft, Lexapro or Effexor to dumb down the anxiety caused by the spinning or dizziness sensation. Your ENT or PCP should be able to refer you to vestibular treatment. Good luck and God bless.

I have had vestibular therapy and it hasn't done much good . I would rather not take any meds also. I am a retired fitness instructor, have lots of equipment at home and use daily. I don't think my problems are in the vestibular system, but believe the problem originates in the neck. I am a CHES and have done lots of research on pppd. Each case is slightly different and since my problems began with cervical issues, I'm focusing more on proprioception to correct my balance.
