Should I start HRT again at 60?
I was late to the HRT game until I finally pushed the subject with my GYN about 4 years ago while in menopause. I used a patch for a couple of years then noticed spotting so I stopped. I feel like I have finally broken through the Menopause Window and am post menopause. Don’t let anyone fool you. For some of us the journey from peri to post is many years. I am still having night sweats and have some brain-fog. Should I ask my GYN for another try? Maybe a different type of patch or cream? There is so much information out there it is overwhelming. Or maybe that is just the menopause??😁

Thank you so much!
Have you heard about the 10 year rule? Of course I went into menopause 25 years ago. Is that a problem for starting HRT after waiting so long? Do you think it is a cancer concern after 10 years or something else? I am so happy to hear that your HRT is helping in so many areas of your life. Hormones are a wonderful thing!

I started at 77 last year. Early menopause at 38.
Yes, keep advocating. Do you have functional medicine practice in your town?

Let us know. Challenge your doctors. Are they still operating with the old women's health initiative study? Have they kept up on the latest findings?
Thank you so much @gravity3
I will definitely check this all out!!
I think the old school thinking was HRT may encourage cancer, is that their main concern?
