@kugan cancer fatigue is real. and if your nighttime sleep is interrupted, that can also worsen it. it's ok to take a nap when you need one. some things to try: shifting the time you take Tagrisso and see if it works better for you. ginseng - but check with your pharmacy team before adding any supplements, some of them will interact with Tagrisso or other medications you might be taking. walking (or some other physical activity you enjoy) - it's counterintuitive, but research shows it helps reduce cancer fatigue.

@mamajite Thank you for your encouragement and advice. I'll ask my oncologist about taking Tagrisso at a different time. I take walks and do yoga once a week, and that helps, but the fatigue seems to persist. Many thanks again.

I had stage 4 lung cancer but after 2 years on Tagrisso my Pet scan cannot detect any cancer. I have had lots of side effects but have conquered most of them. For muscle cramps or spasms, spray Magnesium oil directly on the area. The cramp should release within a few seconds. I had Diarrhea for months until I found a product that worked. It is called EMMA , made by Enclove Bioactives. I take it every day and no more diarrhea. Make sure that you order it directly from the company (I found it on EBAY, but it is a fake product). For mouth sores, I tried the magic mouthwash and it just made my mouth numb, no healing at all. Rinse with baking soda water several times a day. Also, check your toothpaste. I read that fluoride can aggravate mouth sores, so I started using Dessert Essence toothpaste with tea tree and neem (no Fluoride). Within a few days, all of my mouth sores were gone and have not come back. I also had a stomach issues. I found that acupuncture really helped. Hope this helps you.

@kedim that’s wonderful news. Congratulations. At any time did you get any lung nodules that were growing and then all of a sudden they stopped. Thank you.

I have been on Tag for 7 months. The side effects became an issue. I’m on a 3 week break until September 9. This break has been heaven. But I’m stronger right now so I’m ready to pay the piper.

I had a visit with my oncologist on Friday and she reviewed the results of my MRI and CAT scan I had about 5 days earlier. "Good news," she said, "The MRI shows no cancer cells in your brain." I do have a Cochlear implant on the left side of my head, and that obscures imaging in that part of my brain. But, from what was visible, the results were great. As far as the lungs, my oncologist said that the mass in my left lung has shrunk. It was originally about 4.3cm in size and now is about 2.2cm in size. So I am celebrating and embracing that good news. How long the Tagrisso will work for me, I don't know. I've been on the Tagrisso since the first week of Dec, 2025. But I am grateful for what it's given me so far ... a little more time.
