Aromatase VS estrogen blocking supplements
I am not wanting to start taking aromatase medication due to all the side effects. Has someone had experience with not taking the aroma taters and using more of a nature pathic method we have some clinics in our area. There are lots of estrogen reduction supplements on the market. I had early detection breast cancer that was estrogen positive

@myoga I'm not certain how long it takes those bloody cancer cells to die, but I am willing to put up with the side effects and discomfort until those five years are behind me. To me, it's not the worth the risk of one teeny, tiny cell finding purchase and growing into a bloody mass that migrates wherever it wants to go. So far, I've been on Anastrozole for two years, three months and 5 days. That leaves two years, eight months and 24 days to go. I'm up for it.
@momo03
You misunderstood my conversation with @mir123. I merely ask if AIs lower estrogen levels to zero, then why does it takes 5 years to kill active cancer cells in our body. But that’s a question for doctors/ researchers. We don’t know The answer. I don’t advocate to quit AIs before 5 years.
I have a little over a year to go and expect my onco to extend it to 7 years even though my stage is 1 with no positive lymph node. Then again, keep in mind that AIs do nothing to prevent metastases from dormant cancer cells. Good luck to all of us!
@dmr4ever thank you! I’ll be talking to my oncologist in a couple of weeks.
