How many of you that suffer from Panic, Anxiety and Depression find that their symptoms are worse in the morning and gradually get better towards evening?

Hello @anniegk

You pose an interesting question, I'm looking forward to seeing how our Members respond. When do the uncomfortable feelings begin to lift for you? Have you noticed any correlations regarding meals, activity level or meds that you take?

Yes, low dosage Xanax helps with the anxiety; but sometimes the depression just lingers

There was a time when mornings were my best time. Not sure what happened. Not at all sure what to do to change this. You are not alone. I am retired due to chronic pain so what do I have to be stressed about? Not sure about symptoms and to what is causing what. Just know Monday sounds a long way off right now. Blood work tomorrow morning and doc not back in until Monday. A long weekend ahead.

I'm 57 years old. Terrible ANIEXTY. Go to bed at 3-4am & get up around 1-2pm. My SERAQUEL makes me get a good sleep. Aniexty calms down about 8pm. Sometimes I can't eat with the Aniexty in my chest. Im not living each day, just wishing my life away. Really down. Psychologist just increases my tablets. Working hard at getting away from life threatening thoughts. Plz help.

Welcome to Connect, @ellenjks - Have you talked with a psychiatrist? They would surely be able to find out what's going on with the way your depression presents. The psychiatric nurse practitioner I've been seeing for years recently opted out of accepting Medicare at his practice, and when he did that, Medicare cut off his work at the local clinic, where I saw him. I need to see him, but the clinic hasn't returned my calls.

I tend to feel the same way, which means I don't want to get up, and I don't get much done because by the time I'm up and about, the day's almost done. It's really no way to live. We need to continue to advocate for ourselves, and keep researching our options.

In the meantime, I have life insurance - for the life after this one - so that gives me a level of peace of mind. I can't afford the regular kind of life insurance. The eternal life assurance was free.

Just saying.

Jim

We have to fight, prayers & GOD will help us as doctors can't. If not for quiptimine or SERAQUEL tablets I wouldn't sleep. Not living. Just breathing. Really sad.

Something I did not know about Seroquil and learned after I was prescribed 800 mg. for nearly a year for sleep (did not help) and developed deep cataracts during that time. That was in 2007. I surely would not take this again. My experience with Seroquil. I have not mentioned insomnia again nor darkened the door of another MD (AKA Psychiatrist). My experience. We are not all wired the same. I will live with the anxiety.

I am amazed at how many people have morning anxiety. I have also noticed a abundance of people that have Depression that gets better through the day. I was prescribed Buspirone to take 2 times a day morning and night for Anxiety. It seems to help some. Iam also on Seroquel and Mirtazapine. Iam pretty groggy the first part of the day. By evening, i. Feel pretty good.

Hi all, finally went to a psychiatrist, or so I thought. Turns out he was an ARNP, psychiatric nurse. He says I have PDD with psychotic something, PTSD. Oh, and I was casually dressed, and poorly groomed. I would have laughed about it if I hadn't been so furious. I've never gone anywhere poorly groomed unless I was very sick. What a maroon. I've been going to that clinic for over 20 years but I'm now done with them. I emailed my PCP to please prescribe a different pain med than Tylenol 3 because it makes me itch and isn't doing the job for me. But now I have to go to a pain specialist without having anything for pain while I wait to see him. So pissed. More later.
