@sjm46 Thank you for your informative and helpful post.I agree with you on all your points. I do have an appt set to meet with an endocrinologist but will check with my pharmacist like you recommended.I am in my 70s and my primary told me my numbers (lows6s)are considered diabetic but she didn't.She is surprised at my high numbers and suspects it could be meds .Since the meds are not prescribed by her she is deferring to the cardiologist.I am a cancer and when I was first diagnosed a cancer surgeon told me to always advocate for myself and be a partner with my drs. in my healthcare.

Hi Follow up. My pharmacist said Jardiance could be causing my high glucose and A1C readings.
Now on to meeting with an endocrinologist to see what they think. My cardiologist doesn't want me to stop taking it .It is expensive and if it is messing with my metabolism that concerns me.
