frequent pacs after ablation

had my third ablation 5 months ago ....I have an otherwise healthy heart and no meds....my pv"s were isolated during the study so ep did a posterior wall box as a next step...I had been afib free for four years but had frequent pacs...still having relatively frequent pacs after latest ablation but doctor says they are benign...are some of you dealing with chronic pacs post-ablation and are in fact benign or a sign of likely afib recurrence?....

I believe Pradaxa is the DAOC.

@h16027 Super. The Pradaxa is a DOAC. In case it's of interest to you, the LAA, which everyone has, and they all vary a bit in form/shape/length, is a small pouch that only gets flushed regularly when the heart is beating regularly. In AF, that appendage doesn't get flushed out very well and clots can begin to form. If they get washed out, say when the heart reverts back to normal sinus, they can be forced into narrower and narrower vessels and eventually block that vessel. It's bad if in the lungs, the kidneys, the heart itself, but really bad in the brain. Equals a stroke in almost every case. So, the formality in the health industry is to recommend a DOAC to the patient. When a person's heart is fibrillating, the risk statistically is set at about five times (X5) the normal risk of a stroke attributed to emptying in the LAA.
