Dry needling and acupuncture helped lots for spine muscle cramps, ache

Posted by armel174 @armel174, Jan 30, 2024

I have had both done for spine issues. I would highly recommend either of them. I only felt small prick from needle, it only took a few minutes. I closed my eyes and meditated like I was at a spa. So much better afterwards. PTs said if I have muscle cramps or aching again in back to come back. I told them I would.

I agree. I was talking to a coworker and his wife has MS their both on Medicare and Drs drawn on it so their using their ins which won't pay for her injections . The shots are 18,000 for 3 shots so he has no choice but to keep working. Their looking for a different company or another way to pay for shots. What a shame they can't enjoy retirement. If anyone has any ideas plz pass them on. Thx

@spatase I’ve never heard of dry needling for spinal pain. Can I ask what it involves and who does it? Thank you in advance.

@thingie My most recent PT. It helped my back pain. I also have neuromuscular massage from a OT. She is wonderful.
