Unexpectedly good readings!

So what am I doing right?
Starting yesterday noon my pre-meal blood glucose numbers have been great! I've only been fighting this going on about nine years. But my two different brands of blood glucose meters agree.
Lunch and dinner pre-meal readings yesterday were in the 70's, my morning reading today 90!

Nothing too unusual in diet, exercise, life. Some small changes, I'm always fiddling with things, but - wow. Usually on a good day my readings are around a hundred, plus or minus, maybe one a little higher and one a little lower. Depending on how much I've cheated on my diet, and morning reading usually the highest.

I feel fine. Don't really expect it to last, but I'll take it as long as it does! Anyone else have experiences like this? Thanks.

Congrats on that! It feels good for sure. Sometimes I can’t figure it out. Other days, not so good, but I’ll take it.

Sometimes "behaving" on diet long term can reach
a tipping point at which our systems "flip" into the norm. Going back to ice cream every day can test the theory, but not a head to head, peer reviewed, placebo controlled study , and not recommended.

@shmerdloff
Well it was back to my "normal" readings this morning so something ended or I cheated beyond the ability to compensate.

@carbcounter
There is a "surge" in the mornings to wake you up and get you going, so morning readings are higher, depending on when you last ate the day before. (that's why the want to know your f a s t i n g counts).

nb: B/P too.
