Well it was back to my "normal" readings this morning so something ended or I cheated beyond the ability to compensate.

There is a "surge" in the mornings to wake you up and get you going, so morning readings are higher, depending on when you last ate the day before. (that's why the want to know your f a s t i n g counts).
