Medtron pacemaker cybersecurity breach?

Thank you. I did call them. I just wondered if anybody else that has a Medtronic pacemaker got the letter and if they did anything that was mentioned in the letter to protect their identity further.

Yes, i also received a letter from Medtronic. I already have credit freezes on my accounts with the three credit bureaus so didnt do anything further.

Yes, got the letter, added it to the pile of other breaches, ATT, Home Depot, etc. etc. Freeze your credit files and beware of the phishing emails.

I have a medtronic pacemaker and I haven't received a letter. I'm going to log in and see if there is a message. We have had our credit locked for years. They are offering identity theft protection.

@peggynurse Best to freeze at all 3 agencies. If you ever need to open one or more to verify your credit for any reason, ( mortgage, loan, opening a credit card) call their 800 number and make the request via their automated prompts. Notify the entity requiring your credit history that they may proceed. Minutes later, you can freeze your records again. You are asked how long you want your account opened and when you want it re-frozen.
