What sleep meds help you stay asleep?
I’m on a combo of Ambien and Seroquill. I knock out for exactly two hours and then. I’m just awake.

Silenor which is 3 mg tablet for Doxepin helps with sleeping all night. Also Ambien after 1.5 mg melatonin
I tried many sleep prescriptions before being prescribed low-dose (3 mg) Doxepin HCl for staying asleep. For me, it has been a lifesaver. I've been taking it since 2022 or 23
You really do need to stop taking what you're taking and try something else. I see others recommending Doxepin.....it's worth a try. I would also suggest trying Amitriptyline. It's helped me alot. I have not tried Doxepin.
@berekann well after only two weeks ambience is not working very well for me anymore. Silenor gives me too many side effects, nausea, dizziness, and much drowsiness. I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow and hopefully he’ll have some suggestions. I’m open to seeing a sleep specialist
@berekann that was obviously Ambien.
@berekann Trazodone keeps me asleep for 7 hours with no side effects. 150mg.

1 Reaction@mmwagner46 thanks I’m going to ask my doctor about it tomorrow. I’ve tried it in the past at 50 mg which didn’t really work. I was awake for 2 to 3 hours. Maybe the higher dose will be better. I’d also like to look into CBT – I

1 Reaction@rhema have you tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy for your radiation enteritis? It is supposed to heal your intestines and is covered by insurance.
@shmbrd do you have any side effects from this medication?
