Anyone else on Daraxonrasib (RMC-6236)?
Waiting for the approval for my husband to start daraxonrasib. (the new and exciting drug just fast tracked by the FDA) Doc says he's a great candidate for this drug. Anyone else on this? I know about the awful rash you get from seeing the senator on TV. Doc has also styopped all treatment since April 11th. THAT kinda scares me?

1 ReactionHello friends, as many know I was in an early trial of the revolution medicine drugs. From that, I have continued in a community of patients -some who have been on the drugs for 24 months or more! Many therapies have been tried and now prescribed for the skin issues. Some people experience irritation more than others. I am no longer a candidate for any KRAS trials but if someone is on it struggling with the skin issues pls reach out and I will pass along things now being prescribed so you can ask your doctors .

3 Reactions@valerina30 Did 6 months of 5FU (with oxaliplatin and Iranitecan) in 2023 then has surgery to remove the tumor in the tail of the pancreas in 2/24, at that point Mike was stage I, removed spleen and 26 lymph nodes, good clean borders no sign of cancer.....except the presence of cancer in the nerve cells was positive... risk of recurrence. all scans and labs were good for a year, then CA 19-9 started to creep up... eventually was 4500 in Oct 2025 and recurrent PANcan found in mike's stomach, probably where the pancreas had been touching the stomach. Started Gem / Abrax in November 2025 - was working great until March, then CA 19-9 was back up, now at 11000. Waiting for the expanded approval to come thru. In the meantime Mike is back on 5FU/ ox / Iran... the side effects are rough. Hope he only needs it a couple more times before he can transfer to 6236!

2 ReactionsPlease give any info on effectiveness of new REvolution drug vs chemo or other treatment options
There is much data out now on this drug. Its most likely strength of effectiveness will be taking it in unison with a type of existing chemo. It is not a cure but is a life extender for most that have taken it!

1 ReactionThank you all for your discussions and helpful suggestions here. My fiancé was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on the tail but metastasized to the liver in Sept 2025. He has gone through 12 rounds of FOLFIRINOX which shrank the cancer on the tail of his pancreas from 2.9 cm to 1.1 cm after 6 rounds. His UCI oncologist then ordered radiation treatments on the pancreas tail and Y90 on his livers. However, he started to have ascites about 3 weeks ago and had 3 parenthesis already so far as the fluids are accumulating very fast causing extreme pains in his lower abdomen and inability to eat…… He is on OTC Tylenol which helps to some extent. His oncologist is processing for daraxonrasibs but it seems to be taking long. Does any one of you have similar pain experience and any suggestions? I am thinking of taking him to Emergency Room to get some help. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. He is 65 years old and was quite healthy before this was discovered by accident. God bless you all!🙏

3 ReactionsI'm scheduled to start daraxonrasib this week, at Johns Hopkins. I've had some progression of metastatis to the liver and lungs on 5 F/U + irinotecan (the last chemo regimen remaining for me), so this new medication has come at just the right time for us! Obviously, I can't say what it's like being on the drug yet, but it's clear that there are a number of side effects possible. I'll need to return to JHH every couple of weeks to have those monitored, so that they can adjust my levels, as needed. I'm hoping that your husband will be approved for the Expanded Access Program, too. Every good wish to you!

1 Reaction@panacea I am waiting for the pill. The Cancer Center I am at Carbone in Madison WI has submitted be as a candidate for the PILL but not pill yet, they say it will be end of July or end of Summer before I get it. I am not sure anyone has got it yet as part of the expanded trial.
@gamaryanne Are you still on the RMC6236 drug now? Looks like you were on it for a long time, has your cancer reduced significantly since then? And did they give you a break after a certain point of improvements? We've been on it for 3 months now and looking to find more hope and good news from others on it.
