Has anyone on Anastrozole for a year developed hand tremors? Trigger finger? Foot numbness?

Also, wanted to ask if anyone on here has or is experiencing mood disturbances or anger issues related to depression around their hormone blocker. This has been the most insidious side effect which my family has noticed. The depression is just below the surface. I'm hoping it goes away now that I have stopped the med.

The quality of life, the joy of life is smashed, leaving the patient & the family suffering.

Anastrozole for 16 months. Both thumbs now have trigger fingers. Can't open jars or pill bottles. Mood swings. Had osteoarthritis before cancer, knee replacement, torn rotater cuff. But was doing well, able to exercise, climb stairs, etc. Radiation damaged my lungs. CT scan show scarring, nodules and bronchiectasis. Bone scan shows developing osteopenia. Even moderate exercise is painful, cannot go up or down stairs. I'm 78, raising two teen grandchildren and need my energy back. Can't cure bronchiectasis but I can stop AI. Onco score of 15 with 4% chance of recurrence. I want quality of life.

At work, will comment later. Sorry to hear. Switched to another with other side effects. Fight fight and keep searching and if you have chat, constantly email all the medical staff that care for you. I do this outside my team at City of Hope. It is amazing, it takes a village and different think tanks that may help. Grateful for Mayo and our community.

Anastrozole for over a year after Tamoxifen for 3 yrs. I had arthritis but now have it in fingers and toes. With one arthritic toe pushing against the next, a huge painful callous affects my walking and is painful. I read 17% risk of arthritis from this med. Now I am scheduled for amputation of the offending toe next month. Middle toe so won’t affect my gait. I blame the pill.

I take exemestane and have mild trigger finger in index & middle finger of right hand. During the day, I tape the fingers between the knuckle and hand (1/2 inch wide tape). I tape each finger separately. This keeps them from popping. I take the tape off at night for sleeping (if I remember).
PS: My mother hand trigger finger also--and she never took AIs or Tamoxifen.

I have neuropathy that seems to get worse through the 4 years i have been on it. I keep my medical team in the loop. That is my only side effect I note.
