Insomnia issues: Does anyone recommend anything that is reliable?
Since taking letrozole, I have had recurring insomnia. I have tried OTC tablets but have found nothing that I can count on. Does anyone recommend anything that is reliable?

Chamomile tea before bed. In addition, I use a prescribed (by therapist) device called Alpha Stim. Its good for anxiety, insomnia and depression.

1 ReactionIf you aren't already, try taking it first thing in the morning. I've been on letrozole for 3 1/2 years. And experiment to find a bed time routine that works for you, such as no screen time, relaxation, etc.
We take Magnesium Glycinate. This is the brand that works for us. We tried another brand and it did not. We take it at bedtime and if we wake up in the night we take it again.

@fraaseo Can it be bought over the counter or a prescription is also needed?
You will need a prescription from Dr.

1 ReactionTart Cherry Juice works for me. It contains melatonin and tryptophan, which support healthy sleep. Studies suggest drinking 4 to 16 ounces an hour before bedtime. I've also used oatmeal with dried cherries as a desert as well a couple of hours before sleep but the juice is easier.
@fraaseo I have also-it’s Not habit firming and merely eases you into sleep. I have had insomnia for a long time-linen sprays with lavender, blackout drapes, white noise machine all are good especially altogether! No caffeine after 2pm! Dint eat a heavy meal at dinner and try not to drink so much water so you don’t have to get up in the night. ! And, treat yourself to the best pillows for your sleeping position-I was using Tempurpedic pillows in the early nineties when they were $150! You deserve the very best pillows!
