Hello @laurievr,

I have had eyelid surgery to take care of droopy eyelids, but I know of others who have had the same surgery and have not had Parkinson's. I have been told by ophthalmologists that dry eyes are a problem for PD patients because we often don't blink enough.

Are you considering surgery for the droopy eyelid? I had the surgery to help with my peripheral vision. It was impacting my driving. What type of difficulties are you having because of the droopy lid?

So far, my vision has not been affected. but I will be seeing my ophthalmologist this week for my double vision and I will see what he thinks about my eyelids. My eyes have been very dry for years but I really stepped up my eye drops and hope this helps. My right eye lid has been a bit droopy for years, but now it is saggy, with extra skin. The left is starting to get that way. THank you for your response.
