Octreotide Injections - Skipping One or More?
Following completion of PRRT treatment, my wife has been receiving monthly octreotide (Sandostatin LAR) injections.
She will be out - of -town when the next injection is to be done.
Question:
Has anyone skipped an injection (s)?
If so, did this result in negative impacts?
All comments will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

"There are cases you can buy to keep the vials cold. I bought mine on Amazon.a". Thank You for this helpful information. Is there a description or number I can use to order one. I use Ochtreatide rescue shots. The effectiveness lasts about two to four hours. Will be increasing the Lanreotide long last shots from every twenty eight days to twenty one..
Thank You for the added information .. and for your example of finding your way through the NET conundrum.

1 Reaction@maeve115 Hi there! Yes there are several choices for vial cases on Amazon. I bought a Cruxer brand because it did not have extra things I did not need. The cases are usually used for people taking insulin. If you look up insulin supplies, you will find other cases you might like better, and the sharps boxes and alcohol pads are there as well. Hope that helps. 💕
