What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

Connect

@feesepa These are some awkward diagnoses, definitely! I urge you and your friend to wander through the Melanoma & Skin Cancer support group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/melanoma-skin-cancer/ No doubt you will find information and support there as you both navigate this new journey. That is what we do the best, here on Mayo Connect! Being there for each other and offering support helps us feel less alone.
Ginger
@sevillas I also love Kwik Star. I am cancer-free now but after each treatment at Mayo in Rochester, on the way home, my husband would stop at one so that I could get something cold to eat. Ice cream or one of those milk shakes or smoothies. It would be something to look forward to after 4 to 5 hours of chemo. Yes, no matter which store you go into, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Agreed that onions for .39 lb can't be beat.
@sandy8043 thank you for the recipe suggestion. That is right up our alley.
