@edda Thank you for sharing your social challenges as you live with chronic pain. Another issue that I find challenging is being away from the house when it is time to medicate or use topicals. And if you are driving, you need to be careful with dosages...when and how much. Then the pain ramps up and it takes a while to get on top of it. So sometimes it is just easier not to go out. With that being said, I do go to a walk-in mahjongg group of about 25 women....there are cribbage, bridge and other game walk in groups. Try the local library or community/senior center. Go when you feel up to it and enjoy while you are there. I have retained some of my volunteer work which I can do from home. I help build the database, send email blasts and create posts for Facebook...all for the local community center. I am also on the design team for the amphitheater and main building. The chairperson sends me digital files of the design project updates and then I Facetime with the rest of the team for meetings. Those are just some activities that have developed or continued for me since my chronic pain began and for which I have a whole ton of gratitude. We all need to be able to participate in activities that are beneficial.

Well with me had so many people around me and claiming all my time when I worked, that it is a pleasure to be alone. I am not depressed. I am still looking for a church that truly teaches the Bible. I read a lot. My dog has me up to 4 walks a day. It is so hot in Texas. Some walks are short. I am perfectly happy alone. When I worked I also was deeply involved in volunteering. Now it is my time

You are so right. And in Texas I can't get Marijuana but high school kids can. If state approves marijuana they also oversee the growing to assure no mold. I am paying dearly. My RA Dr told me she will not prescribe any drugs. Only my primary can. I am looking for new RA doctir. Someday they will find my MMylona was caused by stress and pain.

Make friends with a kid from your neighborhood. Mold is no problem if your burning or vaping at 400 degrees. They don't put senior citizens away for smoking dope. I can't, having the pump I can be drug tested anytime they want so no pot, plus there is that only one lung left thing. Oh well.

I don't know what you call how I smoked it. I bought a small tube of oil from CLINIC and had a charger that it plugged into. One or two puff and my pain was gone. My primary Dr signed me up for it. If you don't have a Dr who will go along with it the clinics have their own doctors. I could not tolerate smoking it.

@oregongirl you are so right This is my time I enjoy having my me time when we worked we reported to someone ,just us now. I haven't found a Bible base church either so I read scripture ,pray and meditate

You were actually vaporizing it but at a much lower temp than if it were burning. Vaping can be active from 300 degrees to 400 or above. At about 365 degrees you will seethe vapor which looks very much like smoke. You weer also using oil which I have never had. Did it get you high or was it the oil that has the canabinals removed which I'd guess it was if it came from your Doctor.Where do you live? I know these pens are what the stoners really want to get and they can get them in CA and CO. They contain up to 85% pure Cannabis oil. and a single hit will send you right around the bend. Is that what you are getting? If your not and your using the denatured oil I need to give it a try. I can't smoke either and my current contract with the pain clinic might prevent me from even using the denatured version. Please, Please respond. Thanks

Don't give up on the church location. ONE YEAR and I still cannot find a church that teaches the WORD. I may go back to Cornerstone. John Hagee is the closet to the WORD. I met with the Pastor where have been going for about three weeks. I was shocked at his behavior. He feels it is not his calling to teach the Rapture and does not teach Tribulation. I told him I would pray for him and he laughed in my face as though I was a fool.

@that's the devil in him When I went out of church one day looked at preacher it was like a hugh wave feeling pushing me backward I knew I wouldn't be going back there . Easter of all times but he wanted the attention on him,not God. I get more out of
Dr Stanley and Dr Jeremiah on TV then any churches here .Your fortunate to hear Pastor Hagee .I would go to Cornerstone here but no transportation for me,although you,ve given me an idea to look into Good luck to us both bugs Linda
