My EP (electrophysiologist) put me on Eliquis after a sustained episode of AFIB. Is the apixaban the generic of Eliquis? If so, mush be much cheaper than brand Eliquis which is quite expensive.

@jc76 yes apixaban is the generic of Eliquis and is not currently available in the USA. It is available in Europe and other countries. Americans once again pay for all the R&D.
