Has anyone found a treatment that helps with peripheral neuropathy?
I suspect that everyone on this forum has been searching for a medication that helps their neuropathy and even though you no that all the internet claims are false we continue to waste hundreds of pounds. Desperation is a powerful force. Has any one been fortunate enough to find a genuine treatment. I just can’t believe that there are so many awful people who prey on our vulnerability and knowingly orchestrate such elaborate scams.

i had several cortisone injections for severe cervical (neck) stenosis and bone spurs a few years ago that temporarily releived the pain but that was before I got neuropathy. A couple of years ago I took oral cortizone prescribed by my dentist after a nasty tooth extraction (three days) and that somehow relieved by sevre leg neuropathy for a few days. I have very dry skin on my lrgs and feet and i sometimes apply 1% cortisone cream, and that also seems to relieve my neuropathy a bit.
I HAVE BEEN WARNED AGAINST TAKING CORTISONE BY MY NEUROLGIST AND FAMILY DOCTOR SO I DONT PERSUE THE CORTISONE TRAIL
However, there is some sort of meechanism there that seems to help neuropathy, and that might be worth following up with a non-cortisone medication
I would appreciate any comments!
