Anyone have Rituximab infusion for lymphoma treatment? Did it help?

Posted by knissy @knissy, Jun 15, 2025

I have had slow growing Lymphoma for 2 years. Found it with a Bone Marrow biopsy. Symptoms are getting bad now. I'm considering immunotherapy. Anyone had that kind of therapy? How did it go?

I took reticular for B cell lymphoma in 2017 and continue to be in remission. I had no problems with the infusions and no side effects. I hope this is helpful

I had 6 months of Rituxan & Bendamustine in 2023-2024.
Afterwards started with Rituxan every 8 weeks now almost done one more treatment in September. Will speak to oncologist regarding what's next.

I just found out yesterday after a bone marrow biopsy that I have low-grade B Cell lymphoma, 10 to 15% overall cellularity. I have a PET scan coming up, not even scheduled yet but hope to have it scheduled within the next few days. I’m so happy to read about all of your experiences. It has already helped me and I look forward to returning to this blog often! Best wishes to everyone on your journeys and may God bless!

Hi @sledbetter Welcome to Connect. Low-grade B-cell lymphoma is a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma which is generally slow to develop. There are various subtypes, many not requiring immediate treatment but more of an active surveillance situation.
There are a number of members in Connect who have been diagnosed with low grade B Cell lymphoma.

One discussion that might be helpful is this one with @elainejarrett and others. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/lymphoproliferative-disorder/

Were you having symptoms that led to your diagnosis?
