Has anyone tried TrueForm® Fascial Release supplement?

An ad for TrueForm® Fascial Release supplement started popping up all over my feeds. The idea that fibromyalgia is primarily a facial problem that causes chronic pain makes sense to me and my symptoms. Has anyone tried this?

My insight is that a supplement can not release myofascial pain. I describe it as the sticky thin film you see on an uncooked chicken. Think of that under your skin. It can only be unstuck thru very very very gradual manipulation.

It sounds too good to be true to me. I don't see how a capsule can directly affect fascial tissue...

I agree, it looks too good to be true. But please talk to your doctor before starting any supplements. I am a firm believer in them, however many interact with medications.

Hi, I haven't tried it yet but, I too, have been getting the pop-ups. It makes sense to me, as well, and my understanding is that it "releases" the fascia when it's been replenished it to its original state. As we age, the fascia is losing its moisture content and hence, it dries out. Refer to the wetsuit analogy in the report. TrueForm contains everything that's needed to not only transport but to replenish what the fascia is missing to rebuild itself. I am not a Dr. or scientist, at all. This is just 'my' understanding of what I have read and concluded.
I believe it's at least worth trying, even tho it's expensive. Especially when the pharmaceutical drugs are covered by my insurance but still not really working.

@leoandbear this is a good analogy but based on my readings and some intuition I think this isn't fully right, for example magnesium relaxes tighter muscles, and that too is tissue, and the release /tightening is heavily based on nutrient interactions (the sciency way is : MG acts as a natural calcium blocker. While calcium triggers muscle fibers to contract, magnesium counters this by competing for the same binding sites, allowing the muscles to "let go" and relax). For fascia, there is a lot of nutrients responsible as well to keep the tissue healthy and hydrated so it makes a lot of sense to me that eating a more fascia healthy diet (or ig supplementing) is going to effectively help the tissue- but I also 100% agree moving your body to get some sort of mechanical release is also huge :D.

@fibrofamiliartwo - I'd never heard of the fascia healthy diet. Just looked it up. Thanks for posting about it!
