Why would I have tingling in my toes?
I don’t know if any of the following is contributing to it. I have a complete.neck fusion, I had lower back surgery from a bulging disc that was causing sciatica. Sciatica is the worst pain that I’ve ever had in my life. I could not sit for six months, so therefore I couldn’t go out to a restaurant or anywhere that you had to sit then I had thumb surgery due to osteoarthritis. The PT gave me exercise exercises that I should not have done right after a surgery so now I I still can’t use it very much.
So, any ideas for the tingling in my toes?

1 ReactionIt is hard to know why you have tingling in your toes. Perhaps you should see a neurologist or rheumatologist as many autoimmune diseases manifest with some form of neuropathy. There are tests for those diseases and it would be helpful if you can rule them out. I found myself with neuropathy after having a severe sinus infection two winters ago. And, after many tests and scans, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I now am on a strict gluten free diet. Neuropathy is not easy to manage but it can be done if you are body aware and maintain healthy diet and sleep habits. You will want to try to keep it from going beyond your toes. In the meantime you may want to consider some physical therapy to strengthen. I hope you find out what is causing toe tingling. Not knowing may produce anxiety. I wish you success and know that you are not alone.

1 ReactionI do have low sodium that they discovered in the ER and now I have to take salt pills. My tongue also burns and looks funny on one side of it so they took a biopsy and it came back benign? So acid reflex and low sodium, which is difficult to deal with because taking salt pills causes more acid.

Coconpuff, have you tried to increase sodium level by consuming different kinds of sodium. There is coarse sea salt and pink Himalayan salt that is touted for its health benefits. That may be good for nerve pain.

Thank you so much. I did not even think of that.
