Endometriosis medication: any experience with Myfembree or Slynd?

I was recenty diagnosed with endometriosis--long time waiting. I've had extremely painful periods since teen years and they've only gotten worse. My doctor gave me 2 options of medication: Myfembree and Slynd. I'm leaning toward Slynd because Myfembree would send me into pre-menopause and I don't want the harsh side effects.
Anyone been treated with either of these meds? How'd they work for you? Also to those with endo, did you go through any other procedures or experiment with other treatment options? Debating if I should get a second opinion with a doctor who would rather perform surgery or something other than medicaton. Not sure what my best option is. Any insight would help

Hello, I have been on sound when i was like maybe 15 and it was terrible for me bc it gave me my period bc it had the one pill at the end of the week or maybe month that u take that isn’t the one that blocks everything so that u do get ur period. so i had to switch back. this might be different for u if u can tolerate having a period and the reason they put u on this is to have more normal cycle and stuff.
so i was on 0.35mg of norethindrone (aygestin) since i was 13 (except for slymd for like 3 months) then i turned 18 and sometime in there the BC stopped working so they gave me a nexplanon which didnt work, so back to the BC but upped to 5mg. i ended up in the hospital bc of something else but still had debilitating cramps and i got a new gyno who decided to put in an iud as well. i was still bleeding at this point so they upped me to 10 mg BC. i then got surgery for endo and they removed for spots. it did not work. i then got put on orilissa which is the other one instead of myfembree. so it was chemical menopause as well. i thought i would have tons of side effects as well considering i was ok the highest dose as well as having an IUD and being on 10 mg of BC at the same time. i had no side effects except still constantly bleeding and debilitating cramps.
so my question to u is, have u been on birth control already and do u like it. can u tolerate a period bc slynd is meant to give u a period
have they talked about surgery with u? have they given like a confirmation diagnosis of endo, i know they can’t until surgery but if they r confident in it then they should do a surgery to remove it rather then put u on meds if the surgery can just hopefully fix it bc i know people who have gotten better just with surgery.
have they done any ultrasounds specifically like transvaginal or mri??
i cannot give u my experience on myfembree bc i don’t have one but u can on be on these for max 2 years at the lowest dose and the highest 2 so either way this will not be long bc of the high risk of osteoporosis they give
