Anyone taking Tagrisso for Lung Cancer?

I had stage 4 lung cancer but after 2 years on Tagrisso my Pet scan cannot detect any cancer. I have had lots of side effects but have conquered most of them. For muscle cramps or spasms, spray Magnesium oil directly on the area. The cramp should release within a few seconds. I had Diarrhea for months until I found a product that worked. It is called EMMA , made by Enclove Bioactives. I take it every day and no more diarrhea. Make sure that you order it directly from the company (I found it on EBAY, but it is a fake product). For mouth sores, I tried the magic mouthwash and it just made my mouth numb, no healing at all. Rinse with baking soda water several times a day. Also, check your toothpaste. I read that fluoride can aggravate mouth sores, so I started using Dessert Essence toothpaste with tea tree and neem (no Fluoride). Within a few days, all of my mouth sores were gone and have not come back. I also had a stomach issues. I found that acupuncture really helped. Hope this helps you.

@artistrose I'm glad Tagrisso is going well for you. I found adding almond oil after applying lotion helps even more. I also use a moisturizing sugar scrub in the shower that has shea butter.

Thanks to all for your response! It help’s to hear how others are dealing with the side effects! The main thing is to keep going, trust in God and your oncologist and in yourself. Find what works for you and share with others. That’s what support groups are about!
You know that we are all grateful to be alive and we understand each other! God bless! I have found that the baking soda & salt in water soothe mouth sores the most!

I am on 80mg of Tegrisso for Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer since March 29, 2025. I experience many of the side effects, however , i went from unbearable pain for three months before diagnosis and two months, thank God, after treatment I was able to walk again.
Using floss, pick, water pik, brush, and mouth wash after eating has helped. At first, mouthwash and toothpaste were so uncomfortable. My dentist recommended Cloysis and this helped.
The journey has been remarkable since taking Tegrisso.

Is anyone here also dealing with heart issues?

@frane yes I am taking 40 mg. I tried the 80 but I developed all these bruises on my legs. I’m doing very well on 40 mg. How long have you been taken to Tagrisso.

I’m actually writing on behalf of my sister. No bruises, just heart problems.

@frane that’s one of the side effects his heart issues. Maybe they can give her something else. What a shame I’m so sorry to hear that.
