It sounds like you are already taking steps to help with your neuropathy. I'm 83 now and trying to stay more active and eat healthier also but wished I would have started earlier in life. I was in my mid 70s when I started working on managing my weight and exercising more. Not sure if you have heard about intermittent fasting but there is another discussion that helped me early on my journey here:
