Skin peeling down from all my ten fingers.

I need some info and help in understanding what would cause the skins around all my ten fingers to peel down and the finger tips to become very raw and painful?
I am unable to touch anything w/o pain. I am a 75 yr old female w multiple medical issues, including strokes and cancer.
Please help. Thank you

Hi VJ,
I'm so sorry you are having this painful situation with your fingers. I would suggest you go to your doctor as soon as possible. Start perhaps with your primary care doctor and then he can refer you to the appropriate specialist. Something is obviously wrong and needs to be corrected. Also water helps our skin and actually our whole body. So drink a lot of water. But still see a doctor soon.
Prayer also works. Just ask God for help. He's always there for us. I'll say a prayer for you also.

Thank you so much for your reply and prayers for me. This condition
of peeling skin started all of a sudden last week. I am 75 yrs old and have multiple medical issues that I am dealing w. My Lord JC keeps on testing me. I really do not know what to do.
I will be seeing my PCP soon like you mentioned.

Actually no. I am a disabled
Elderly person and my husband is my caregiver.
I am wondering if this is a virus that is causing it.

Thank you so much. I have never seen a Dermatologist in my entire life so far. Now, I guess it is time to see one.

I would suggest finding a small Dermatologist group. I've wasted time and
money at a group that had several offices around the state and were more
interested in profit than medical care. If you're in North Jersey I can
recommend someone.

I just applied Hydrocortisone ointment 2.5% and Moisturizer lotion as needed and it is getting better. In some fingers, the skin is still peeling down and I do.not know why.

I found out that my finger prints have gone, when my skin from fingers peeled down completely.
Will they come back or no?
Do you know, by any chance?
