Had lumpectomy, thoughts on lipofilling to even breast?
Did lumpectomy and now I notice that my left breast looks dented and uneven. Any thoughts (process, outcomes, recovery experiences) on fat grafting (lipofilling) is appreciated. Thank you

When I’m lying down, my breasts look like that mountain range in Phoenix - one with a peak and one deflated.
I guess I have a sense of humor about it. It is what it is. Those who know me understand the lopsided me. Those who don’t and who would comment are told I have cancer. Shuts them right up, as if it was any of their business anyway.

1 ReactionI had a lumpectomy over 22 years ago that left me lopsided. Over the years the breast has seemed to sag more. No one suggested any fillers, breast enhancement or even what bra could help. And so I’ve just worn slightly padded ones all these years but added some extra padding when needed depending on what I wear. Now I’m heading for a “Goldilocks mastectomy” on the other breast which I’m told will leave me with a similar size to the other breast. At 79 I’m more concerned about my health than making my girls “perky” (lol). I understand those much younger might feel differently. There are many options for you, and your oncology team can guide you in what’s best for you.
