Shortness of breath after using 0.9% saline solution in the nebulizer

I started using the higher solutions of saline in the nebulizer but could not tolerate them, so I am using the 0.3% solution since more than one year, and it was OK; but lately, I experience shortness of breath with this solution also. I have bronchiectasis and asthma . Should I stop doing the saline solution completely?

@callebautmartine With MAC & Bronchiectasis, there can be many reasons for increasing shortness of breath, so this is a question for your pulmonologist, who needs to evaluate the shortness of breath and your total lung condition. We are not doctors here, so cannot make that sort of recommendation for you.
