@siggy50 thanks. I cannot take it because it totally knocks me out.
Tylenol makes me sleepy!!
I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy In January 2023, Following six months of chemotherapy or colon cancer. In July 2025, I was diagnosed with autonomic dysfunction. I have numbness in my hands and my feet, extending to my forearms and calves, respectively.
I have recently met with a neurologist who is proposing IVIG treatments. She has caution me that IVIG will not reverse any symptoms but may delay further problems.
Has anyone had experience with IVIG?

Hello
I was prescribed Gabipentim 300mg a day for oral pain.
Pain subsided due to increase mobility.
Doc said to stop gabi and take as needed.
I have been taking Gabapentin for years now. Originally prescribed 300 mg nightly but asked to take only 100 mg a night. Works well for me for nightly leg pain.
@lchop
I am new here..
But well versed in pain and medications for it.
Please be careful with 2x a day Celebrex.
After 4 years on it I was having bleeding issues and became all kinds of anemic.
Had a surgery 6 months ago and had to wean myself off.
When I went back on it I took 1 a day instead,
Six months later my blood work/anemia was resolved.
@kimegraves I am on gabapentin for pain related to slipped rib syndrome. 300 3x daily. I feel like it used to more effective but I can tell when I miss a dose. Wondering what dose you are on that is so beneficial?

1 ReactionI've tried gabapentin & it wasn't too useful. It took away my mental acuity ... for pain-relief, I would recommend 50 mg Tramadol ... takes away pain with limited issues on mental acuity.
During Covid, the pain was so bad, for lower lumbar herniated disc, so I checked into emerge for a tramadol injection shot in my arm.
Pain subsided cos' it delivers relief quicker in bloodstream.
Have been on gaba about 2 years. Got up to 2800 mg a day. Didn’t help at all so I started weaning off. Got down to 600 mg but still in severe pain. My doc said go back up to 1800mg. No help so I’m weaning again. Down to 600mg again and in one more week will be down to 300mg. Why waste my money on something that doesn’t work. If works for some people and not for others. Wish I could get a stronger pain relief med but legally I can’t cos I’m also on a benzo.
I've been taking 3600mg of gabapentin a day for years, which is the highest dosage my doctor will prescribe to try and dull the pain in my feet.
