I've tried gabapentin & it wasn't too useful. It took away my mental acuity ... for pain-relief, I would recommend 50 mg Tramadol ... takes away pain with limited issues on mental acuity.

During Covid, the pain was so bad, for lower lumbar herniated disc, so I checked into emerge for a tramadol injection shot in my arm.
Pain subsided cos' it delivers relief quicker in bloodstream.
