Looking for info about cannabis use to stimulate appetite

Posted by kathy2000 @kathy2000, Mar 1, 2023

Hi,

I'm looking for information from others using cannabis to stimulate appetite in a pancreatic cancer patient. What works quickest to increase a patients appetite? smoking, vaping, or gummies? What THC/CBD content is best?

Would like to hear from anyone with experience in using it in this area. It is legal in our state but the store is full of products. I really need some help.

Thanks.

Actually, I'm ignoring it. I have too many other thongs to do right now. Weirdly, i find the scans relaxing. It is out of my control, so i just lay back and relax.

@deanhobart I agree with you on the ignoring it and scans. Waiting for the results is a little more challenging for me.

Don't get caught up with scanxiety. I feel blessed that having cancer caused me to accept life and live each day. I could slip in the shower and crack my head or die in a horrible disfiguring traffic accident this weekend. I now cherish my time with friends and family more fully than I did before. Chemo was terrible, and I almost died a couple of times, but it made me stronger overall. I will do it again if needed.

@deanhobart Good for you. Having bounced back from a deadly path myself, cancer has reminded me to appreciate every second now and more even living on chemo. I feel very fortunate that I am still alive.
